To help save our customers green, we need an amazing team who knows all about it. Our National Finance & Administration Services department oversees the management of the critical resources and infrastructure that our people need to get the job done at every level. This service department is designed to make sure our retail divisions and executive leadership receive the support they need to run a successful operation. Within Finance our teams include: Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Tax and Treasury.

In this role the Finance Project Coordinator II role will be responsible for National Finance & Administration projects and driving related tasks. The objective of the role is to provide, implement, and deliver support to company-wide strategic initiatives. This individual will ensure projects remain on track and follows up with key stakeholders as necessary, including delivering and facilitating timelines and project content in a confident and professional way. Proactively presents decision making information to leadership for discussion. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, strong verbal and written communication skills and works independently.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:  Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.   • Informs leader of status and results of assigned tasks and proactively identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate. • Holds regular collaboration sessions with business stakeholders to provide updates as well as documents any feedback from the business. • Understands financial impacts on company performance and effectively communicates these to leadership. • Recommends process improvements for area of responsibility. • Leads projects according to the position’s objectives upon the direct and personnel leader’s request. • Develops and executes plans for small to medium-scale projects. • Assists leaders in implementation and rollout of large-scale projects. • Coordinates the involvement of multiple business stakeholders. • Analyzes working procedures with the objective to identify best practices and improve efficiencies. • Determines and creates the required project deliverables. • Ensures projects remain on track and follows-up with key stakeholders as necessary. • Delivers and facilitates timelines and project content in a confident and professional way. • Uses financial background to create appropriate documentation and effectively communicate status and potential organizational changes that may result out of a project’s scope. • Assists in the planning, processing, and monitoring of financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to leadership. • Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information. • Other duties as assigned.   Job-specific Competencies:  Knowledge/Skills/Abilities   • Consistently demonstrates the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as outlined for the role. • Gives attention to detail and follows instruction. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Effective time management; maximizes productivity. • Prepares written materials to meet purpose and audience. • Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external parties. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  • Ability to lead through influence and build relationships quickly.  • Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities, assignments, and other interruptions, which may affect pre-established timelines.  • Ability to recommend, interpret and apply company policies and procedures.  • Knowledge of business system environments and processing requirements.  • Understands the strategy, organizational authority, interdependence of job duties, products, systems, and services of the company.  Project management skills, including the achievement of desired results within scope, timeline and budget.  • Negotiation skills.    Education and Experience:   • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management or a related field required. • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Business/Management or a related field required. • Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.    Physical Requirements:   • Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties. • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another. • Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse. • Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.    Travel:   • Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
