Job Description

Visa is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant to join our Visa Payments Threat Labs team.  This individual will be responsible for strategic projects, UAT testing, performing testing for our clients to ensure the safety of their transactions, testing new tools and products, and developing new fraud scenarios for testing purposes. This individual will help the team develop the program and processes required to continue to scale successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team and management to identify, develop, document requirements for the automation initiatives.
  • Perform UAT testing for the automation initiatives.
  • Develop strategy and requirements for the new initiatives to help scale the program.
  • Conduct threat research to identify emerging fraud trends and reproduce results in a simulated environment.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on various fraud issues and produce fraud mitigation strategies to include vulnerability assessments.
  • Perform testing engagements in close collaboration with the clients and internal teams.
  • Act as a technical SME for Visa Payments Threats Labs in client-facing engagements.
  • Engage with clients via presentation of findings.
  • Work with the team to finalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to document the program.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in testing, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in client-facing engagements.
  • Strong requirements documentation skills.
  • Roadmap and strategy skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 137,300 to 210,850 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
