Your Impact as a Compensation Consultant

As member of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as being in our Data Solutions business group. Data Solutions is a unit of the Talent Solutions practice at Aon.

In this role, you will help empower results for Aon clients by delivering financial services benchmarking and consulting. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Consultant to sit in our Central or Eastern region with flexibility to work remotely. Our clients include virtually every leading global financial services firm, including alternative and traditional asset managers, insurers, banks and wealth management. Our business model is based on creating and expanding long-term partnerships with our clients.

The Consultant will be part of a highly productive team of industry experts. In our team-based work environment, they will play a vital role in delivering data-enabled solutions to our clients. This candidate will be provided extensive exposure to senior leaders within Aon and at our clients.

Your Impact as a Compensation Consultant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze competitive compensation practices in a defined labor market
  • Perform specialized research studies on a range of compensation topics, as assigned
  • Analyze and interpret data and prepare summary reports
  • Provide routine, day-to-day support to consultants regarding the interpretation of data and findings
  • Maintain and update compensation and financial databases

  • Ability to communicate optimally, both orally and in writing

  • Strong research, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong digital literacy, including: Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel spreadsheets, Word processing, PowerPoint, e-mail and internet tools
Education & Application Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably with a focus in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics. Other majors will also be considered.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $130,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Stamford, CT. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] [production incentives] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] [production incentives] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
