Our Engineering Program Managers partner with engineers who build secure, end-to-end solutions. Apple is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to lead efforts focused on building tooling to enable robust testing and monitoring of our infrastructure and services. Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years validated experience in software development project management.
  • Consistent track record not just in delivering programs, but also in defining, owning, and driving new critical initiatives across an organization.
  • High-level of technical competency and experience collaborating directly with highly technical teams.
  • Able to interact with large developer communities and large internal customer teams, gathering input on evolving needs, and sharing both needs and project status with senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud platforms and technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD technologies.
  • Experience with ephemeral environments and chaos engineering frameworks.
  • Experience with developer tooling and containerization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong relationship management and facilitation skills both within diverse engineering teams and multi-functional organizations.
  • Proven self-starter, who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, both written and oral, including the ability to convey complex requirements in a clear, concise and credible manner.
  • Overall, a highly driven, results-oriented, problem solver who will drive programs to deliver value quickly to our customers.


Description

The Cloud Infrastructure team, as part of the Apple Services Engineering team, is seeking an extraordinary Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to deliver innovative product solutions that will shape the future of large scale infrastructure at Apple. You'll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to develop tools for developers to enable better testing practices like robust fault injection across various data centers and cloud services. You'll also design and implement solutions to enable monitoring of the tech stack across various environments. This position requires practical knowledge of Kubernetes, public cloud platforms, software engineering, operations, and automation. Building and maintaining relationships with diverse sets of engineering teams will be critical to ensure collective success. Your work will be incredibly important to maintain and improve Apple's most critical cloud services.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $152,400.00 and $268,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
