McCalls Carpet One Floor & Home in Nashville & Franklin, TN is looking to hire a Sales Consultant to join their dynamic teams. We offer the following:

Base Pay: $40,000 + Commission & Bonuses
90 day paid training
Full Time: 5-day work week (Tuesday to Saturday: 9am-5pm)

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service and determine flooring needs
Keep up to date on the wide selection of products and services provided
Build strong client relationships and ensure follow up is completed on all jobs
Schedule appointments to visit customer’s homes or workplace to provide product and design advice
Be point of contact for customer to provide following: flooring samples, complete & review space/area measurements, calculate number of materials needed for project, create estimate/proposals
Communicate with vendors to determine product specifications, availability, and to order materials for active projects
Manage time between the showroom and prospecting in the community
Maintain showroom by keeping samples, displays and common areas neat, current, and clean

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2-4 years’ proven work experience in Retail Sales, Customer Service, Interior Design, or similar role
Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business management, interior design, or a similar field a plus
Basic computer/social media, iPad, and math skills a must
Proper phone etiquette
A positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, yet within a team setting
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Strong personal and professional judgment
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to customers’ needs and wants
Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
Ability to achieve sales goals effectively
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Advanced time management skills
Ability to read floor plan drawings & create project estimates a plus (Willing to train)
Knowledge of flooring & design industry a plus (Willing to train)
Knowledge of Pacific Solutions a plus (Willing to train)
