Description

IMA's Certificate Compliance (IMACC) team is seeking an Operations Manager! This personwill be responsible for overseeing the operations of the IMACC team by furthering the IMACC team objectives and results primarily by developing appropriate processes, organizing client data, and coordinating onboarding of new Specialists, under the guidance of the IMACC Managing Director.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize and track client renewals by working with Specialists to gather information and adhere to timelines
  • Manage the onboarding and training of and directly supervise new IMACC Specialists
  • Develop, coordinate, and enforce procedures to maintain high client service standards
  • Work directly with Implementation team, Specialists, and clients in development of client process
  • Work with Managing Director in delegation of client assignments
  • As part of consistently managing at least one IMACC client:
    • Independently audit certificates of insurance and endorsements for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to our client's contract requirements
    • Provide detailed and accurate reviews
    • Answer client inquiries about compliance matters
    • Follow up with insurance agents to verify policy coverage and cancellations
    • Act as a liaison between agents and our clients
    • Perform client account review
  • Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person
  • Ensure accurate tracking of communications
  • Perform functions of the role within an IMA office 0-50% of the time

Required skills and experiences:

  • Understanding of General Liability, Umbrella, Workers Compensation and other business policies
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree
  • Intermediate skill with MS Office products preferred/required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong level of comfort with learning and utilizing computer software programs (MYCOI and TrustLayer)
