Job Title: Training Specialist
Duration: 02 Months
Location: North Chicago, IL 60064


Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible)
Overtime: Potential Overtime, might be mandatory at times. Notice will be provided.

Purpose:
Act as central point of contact for employees in coordinating and supporting the completion of EHS training program requirements.

Responsibilities:
Work with cross functional Training Coordinators (Operations, R&D, Commercial and HQ) and training systems such as ComplianceWire, survey their training course needs to determine what instructor led and online training courses are needed, how many training sessions need to be scheduled, frequency of training sessions, when participants are expected to come due for training.

Work with both internal instructors and external training providers to schedule conference rooms, virtual sessions, and publishing the courses in the Learning Registration system.

Conduct ongoing attendance monitoring of instructor led training programs to determine when specific training sessions need to be adjusted due to lack of or high attendance and complete the training adjustments. In some cases, may need to work with External Training Providers to schedule additional classes.

Enter training attendance into respective learning management systems and post attendance sheets for others to access records as necessary.
Track and process charge backs of training attendance costs to the respective department and provide data to Finance monthly.

For EHS training curriculum used enterprise-wide - With input from the training course SME, update the Computer Based training curriculum slide decks as well as upload it within the EHS Training Platforms and ensure proper linkage to ComplianceWire. Provide slide decks to R&D and Commercial as appropriate. The computer-based training programs support EHS related training enterprise wide.

Maintain and revise Corporate Records retention schedules for department training records, training modules, and employee files
Assist with the development of training materials
Generate training reports to maintain and demonstrate compliance
Prepare and participate in both internal and external training/compliance audits
Compile and present training compliance metrics
Learn and support various tasks within Document Management System and Learning Management System

Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
* Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree is desirable
* Must be well organized and have excellent attention to detail
* Experience working in an environment regulated by FDA compliance and required documentation
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Must possess and demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision
* Must have knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Ability to build strong relationships with peers and cross-functionally with partners outside immediate work group

Years of experience/education and/or certifications required:
- LMS experience
- Highschool diploma required, Associated degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
