Medical Secretaries!

  • Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Medical Secretary position.
    Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
  • Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Mid Coast Medical Group-Neurology | Brunswick Neurologists () has an immediate need for a full time Patient Service Representative/Medical Secretary to join our care team. The Patient Service Representative/Medical Secretary is responsible for providing administrative and office support for the providers in a multi-physician, practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
    2. License/Certifications: N/A.
    3. Experience: One (1) year of related experience. Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
    4. Knowledge and skills in using office equipment.
    5. Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques.
    6. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks.
    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
    8. Strong computer skills.
    9. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
    10. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    11. Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direct supervision. Ability to maintain a professional manner even under stressful situations.
    12. Experience in customer relations.
    13. Accurate data entry skills.
