Job Title- RN-Emergency Room (Level III Trauma Center)
Location- Dover DE 19901
Duration- 13 weeks
Shift- 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 3 days/week, 36 hrs/week
Responsibilities
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
- Maintaining emergency room care standards.
- Assisting with insurance paperwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
- Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
Notes:
- Complex ED caring for 130-180 patients per day.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a BUSY ED.
Requirements:
- Core ED target is 4:1
- Must have PALS, NIH and TNCC
- RN DE license
- Covid copy
- BLS/CPR
- 2 Professional References
