We’re currently seeking a *Nurse Practitioner *to join our amazing team.
*Details of the Opening:*
* Anticipated start date: *ASAP*
* Schedule: *Full Time, Monday- Friday*
* Salary: *$125,000/year*
*Scope and Duties:*
* Provides Family Practice and interventional Family Practice consultative services for: assessment, diagnostic work-up and clinic intervention, including comprehensive patient assessment, health history, physical examination, and patient education to Veterans in the Primary Care team setting
* Outpatient include both scheduled and unscheduled Veterans
* Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, recommend treatment and/or referral
* Record/document health appraisal information, clinical assessments, treatment decision, plan of care, ongoing management and therapeutic outcomes, order medications, diagnostic test and referral consultations where needed for every patient encounter
* Recording will be accomplished using the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS) and will be completed on the day of the encounter
*What You’ll Need to Qualify for this Role:*
* Unencumbered license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the US or the District of Columbia
* ANCC Certification with a minimum of 5 years of experience within the last five years
* Must be currently certified in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalency and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certifications from the American Heart Association
