Vaxxinova US is seeking a Production Technician to join our Blend/Fill team in Willmar, MN.

About the role

The Production Technician- Blend/Fill, reporting to the Operations Manager, is responsible for the final formulation and filling of vaccines based on proprietary SRP technology. This position works Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm.

Main responsibilities:

• Operation of production equipment associated with the Blend/Fill department in a sterile manufacturing environment
• Disassembly, cleaning and reassembly of production equipment and work areas
• Preparation of liquid buffers used during the serial assembly process
• Blending critical components required for final serial batching
• Filling final serial batches using product specific filling equipment
• Assisting other technicians with troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Manually record all necessary information immediately upon completion of a task and maintain records associated with Blend and Fill
• Assisting other manufacturing departments when schedule permits
• Maintenance of a clean work environment to assure sterility.
• Promote safety in all areas of work, professional courtesy, and a positive work environment within the company

Qualifications and Capabilities

• Basic math skills required
• General proficiency with MS Office
• Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, and record keeping skills
• Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
• Ability to work on equipment while standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• High school diploma required, Two (2) or four (4) year degree in any technical field preferred
• One (1) to two (2) years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
