Sponsorships & Business Development Specialist

 

Job Description

 

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Coordinator to join our team and support the Vice President of Business Development. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and executing partnership and sponsorship opportunities within our industry, analyzing sales trends, and maintaining our customer relationship database. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services to our partners and sponsors.

 

Partnerships & Sponsorships

 

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential sales avenues.

- Cultivate leads within targeted markets.

- Work closely with the VP of Business Development to follow up on leads.

- Prepare detailed reports on growth and new opportunities for industry stakeholders.

- Coordinate deliverables with other departments and sponsors.

- Generate necessary correspondence and documents (sponsor agreements, fulfillment reports, etc.).

 

Sponsors and Tradeshow

 

- Collaborate with the Meeting Planning team to develop exhibitor and sponsorship prospectuses.

- Coordinate documentation, invoicing, and payments for sponsorships and exhibits.

- Assist in developing exhibitor rules, policies, and program-specific documentation.

- Collaborate on booth floorplan design and show floor assignments.

- Coordinate marketing campaigns and strategies for tradeshows with the Communications and Marketing team.

- Produce exhibit program reporting data and collect post-event feedback.

- Provide excellent exhibitor support and assist with onsite management.

 

Customer Service/Administrative Responsibilities:

 

- Maintain industry partner/prospect records in the AMS.

- Demonstrate excellent customer service to all contacts, both internal and external.

- Handle exhibit space sales efficiently.

Additional Information:

Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of the organization.  This position will interact with related associations, manufactures/suppliers, members, board of directors, state/local executives, committee members, and all PHCC staff.

Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience preferred.

- Previous experience with exhibitor and registration software programs; experience with Cadmium preferred.

- Previous experience with an Association Management System; experience with NetForum preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SmartSheets.

- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
