Summary:

The Child Mind Institute seeks a Clinical Marketing Associate who is a self-starter and highly organized to support our clinical practices in New York City and San Mateo, CA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Marketing and Clinical teams on a range of responsibilities from event management and referral meeting outreach to leading email campaigns. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, is comfortable collaborating with various members of the team, including clinicans. Candidates should have experience in marketing or sales and a strong interest in childhood mental healthcare. Being highly organized, proactive, collaborative and having the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment is paramount.

This position requires the ability to work occasional evening and weekend events.

Reporting to the Clinical Marketing Manager in the Marketing and Communications Department, this is an exempt, full-time, hybrid position located in our NYC headquarters office.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently write communications to key referral sources. Promote the clinical practice and outreach to parents, educators and other key audiences.
  • Research, establish and manage relationships with referral sources such as mental health providers and school professionals.
  • Manage robust professional development and parent workshop offerings including the development of related marketing materials, presentation skills coaching and financial reporting. Communicate detailed knowledge of mental health professional development and parent workshops to key stakeholders. Represent organization at receptions and events.
  • Develop and execute email marketing strategy and campaigns.
  • Provide marketing training to the clinical team related to referrals outreach and communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Communications department to develop and execute Clinical Marketing campaigns including: Digital and email marketing, promotional materials, conference programs, participant handouts, and signage.
  • Lead competitive analysis and research across healthcare organizations, medical practices, and schools.
  • Influence development and implementation of marketing plans for the clinical practice and specific clinical programs, including email and outreach campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in sales, marketing or a related field with demonstrated creativity in referral generation and outreach initiatives.
  • Experience leading planning, organizing, and marketing events.
  • Experience using a CRM systems, such as Salesforce/Pardot.
  • Medical practice sales and marketing experience and/ or working in schools a strong plus.
  • Must be organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple tasks and workflow changes, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, and work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Ability to work at events that may occur on evenings and weekends.
  • Self-starter personality comfortable initiating meetings and conversation with new people.

The salary range for the position is posted.
