Position: Knowledge Management Specialist

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia

Type: Full-Time/Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Salary: $63,000 - $69,000 / Year

Job Summary: Hardware and software technical expertise in knowledge management support in its N2 directorate to support a highly remote and diverse workforce. This effort will provide end-to-end and day to day management of all systems, software, and legacy applications to support INSURV in carrying out its congressionally mandated mission as defined by Title 10 law.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ Years SharePoint experience/proficiency/knowledge/user & site collection manager (2010 or higher)
• 2+ Years Writing technical guides/standard operating procedures and gathering/documenting user requirements
• 2+ Years Web Technologies experience (HTML, CSS, Java Script)
• 2+ Developing and providing user training (classroom or online) experience
• Microsoft Teams for online collaboration
• Attention to detail and effectively work as part of a team!
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time, prioritizing efforts and meet deadlines
• Must be able to possess a SECRET Clearance prior to starting work

Responsibilities:

• SharePoint Portal Online Management, Maintenance and Development
• SharePoint Online and web technologies such as master page, power pivot, workflows and excel services, HTML, CSS and Java Script to deliver functional, responsive, and enhanced user experience
• Participate in on-going trainings to include developing and maintaining SharePoint training modules, provide SharePoint training to users in the classroom or online, and attending virtual trainings
• Provide Technical Writing by developing and maintaining technical guides/standard operating procedures and communications trainings.
• Provide support for internal/external communications and social media

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
