The salary range for this role, based in New York is $73,000.00 to $91,300.00, range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate'sexperience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position

Position Summary

Revenue Growth Management (RGM) partners with teams across PR USA to identify revenue opportunities through price optimization, trade spend opportunities and/or promotion efficiency.

The execution analyst partners with Spirits sales teams to identify revenue opportunities while driving a step change in RGM capabilities through supporting implementation of new tools, systems and processes. A successful candidate will be an enabler to the sales team and broader organization in achieving overall performance ambitions.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

- Individual:

  • Drive action and execution of business opportunities through collaboration with commercial teams and the use of data driven insights.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities to optimize price and improve promotional effectiveness across the spirits portfolio.
  • Lead ad hoc revenue management related projects with local market and distributor teams.
  • Coordinate with Field Finance Managers for PSM maintenance and structure building where no distributor pricing resources present.
  • Evaluate distributor profit model to determine margin outcome.
  • Take the lead for a subset of markets in:
    • Identifying opportunities for simplicity and efficiency in day-to-day pricing discussions as well as annual planning conversations.
    • Leveraging local market insights to provide strategic pricing recommendations.
    • Determining spend effectiveness through ad-hoc analyses.

- Shared:

  • Support the socialization and embedding of Revenue Management capabilities and tools across commercial teams.
  • Collaborate in the development of revenue management annual planning materials and partner with local market and distributor teams in the integration of Revenue Management principals into the annual planning process.
  • Educate field on proprietary RGM analytical tools to generate value added insights.
  • Provide ad hoc support as needed by market, including analyses, price structure creation, FOB tracking, compiling competitor shelf price data, etc.


Nature & Scope

This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Management and supports the revenue management needs for one sales division. The analyst interacts directly with Pernod Ricard USA sales teams, finance and with distributor counterparts.

This role is the center of expertise for Revenue Management for PR USA markets aligned with SGWS and leads execution topics with PR USA leadership teams.

The candidate will work with their manager to guide local implementation of new tools, capabilities and processes with market teams. In addition, the Analyst is center of expertise for local and national strategic pricing projects and initiatives while, in parallel, enabling local market teams to find price and promotion opportunities on a day-to-day basis.

The nature of the role requires strong data structuring and analysis skills and the interest in learning how to generate insights and recommendations even when only partial data sets may be available. Strong communication skills are a must. It is critical for the individual in this role to be a self-starter who is highly organized and embraces cross-functional ways of working.

Key requirements

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative field (i.e., Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.)

- Experience/Background:

  • Two to three years in financial analysis/planning with experience in brand planning/profitability.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and technically skilled managing multiple systems.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to create environment of trust and confidence.
  • An ability to learn new tools and systems.
  • Knowledge of syndicated consumer data a plus.
