We're looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to accomplish the Field Team's strategy for brand growth by generating excitement and awareness for the Guayaki Yerba Mate brand through product trial and consumer interaction. As a Field Marketing Specialist, you will be the heart of the Guayaki brand in the Austin area, and may need to work evenings and weekends. You will report to the Field Marketing Manager.
How you'll help:
- Integrate the Guayaki brand into local events by preparing and sampling product with potential/target consumers.
- Self-identify sampling and visibility opportunities and agree upon activation strategy with your manager.
- Share the product and brand details, information, and origination story with consumers to align with their interests so they may connect with the brand.
- Ensure a positive consumer experience by presenting yourself as a face of the brand and embodying Guayaki's sustainability and regenerative values.
- Manage a small team of part-time representatives' (Cebadors) in your market for greater sampling and visibility impact.
- Negotiate, connect, and build relationships with individuals who coordinate local events, active community partners, and important influencers in the region.
- Identify how trial converts into new customers, consumers, and product volume growth at identified points of sale.
- Use electric cargo tricycles to organically reach the field and provide grassroot samplings.
- Share local market development successes and failures with management to better service your region in a unique way.
What you'll provide:
- BA Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
- 2 years of relevant work experience in field marketing or implementing campaigns across multiple locations.
- Current Driver's License with clean driving record and meet DOT driving standards.
- Must be at least 21 years old.

Travel and Physical Requirements:
- Travel could be required to assist with large events or company meeting.
- Is in the field 70% of the time in the allocated region.
- Conduct laborious tasks involving the movement of cases of cans and bottles containing liquid and event materials, and using vehicles, dollies, and cargo bikes.
- May be required to be on their feet for multiple hours at a time at sampling events and will need to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl in the setup of such events and similar activities.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The pay range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors; actual pay offered may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Sales commissions and/or variable pay plans are also offered depending on the position (ex: monthly, quarterly, annual bonuses).
