Job Description:
Raritan Valley Community College's Evelyn S. Field Library is currently accepting resumes of interest for a Part-Time, Reference Librarian.
The Reference Librarian will provide reference services, teach information literacy instruction sessions and perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Instructional Services Librarian and/or Library Director.
The position will fill 19 day-time hours per week in the library.
Requirements:
An M.L.S. degree or equivalent from a graduate school of library science accredited by the American Library Association is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using current technology for reference and instruction, including internet searching, virtual reference services and classroom technology systems.
Previous college library public service experience and experience teaching at the college level are preferred.
