Pay: Up to $18/hr

Work Hours: Monday -Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

What to Expect?

As the Receptionist & HR Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for our company, providing a warm and welcoming experience to all visitors and callers. Your primary duty will be to answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals, and ensure that messages are conveyed accurately and promptly. Additionally, you will handle various administrative tasks related to human resources, providing essential support to our HR team.

On a daily basis our HR Receptionist:

  • Professionally and courteously greet all visitors, clients, and employees who arrive at the reception area.

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments.

  • Maintain a well-organized and tidy reception area, ensuring a positive and inviting atmosphere for guests.

  • Manage the company's main email inbox, responding to inquiries and forwarding messages to relevant team members.

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries efficiently.

  • Maintain and update contact lists and other essential records.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including data entry, filing, and office supply management.

  • Conduct research and compile data for HR-related projects and presentations.

  • Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement and wellness activities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in HR or business administration is a plus.

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role is desirable.

  • Familiarity with basic HR concepts and practices is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to manage various tasks efficiently.

  • Proficiency in using office software and technology, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
