We are currently in search of an experienced Admissions Coordinator for our Burtonsville, MD location. The Admissions Coordinator at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") is responsible for ensuring that each caller is met with compassion and empathy and a sense of urgency while providing the highest quality care to the individual in need. This position requires a thorough understanding of substance use disorder, and SUD/MH treatment. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and diplomatically problem solve on an as needed basis.
• Start Date Immediately
• 1st Shift / M-F / 9AM - 5PM
• Facilitates intake inquiries and coordinates plans for clinical, medical, and financial arrangements for incoming callers seeking treatment
• Liaison between referral source, patient, and clinical/medical staff
• Ability to communicate with insurance providers and read insurance verifications/ benefit summary
• Following up with patients to engage/enhance motivation for treatment
• Making targeted measurable goals with the ability to self-assess to increase and enhance productivity
• Enters and uploads documentation in the Electronic Medical Records system to communicate appropriate information
• Other duties as assigned
• Strong clerical skills
• Salesforce knowledge

• Experience with SUD/MH treatment
• Familiar with motivational interviewing
• Comfortable speaking with patients, families, referral sources.
