The UC Davis School of Law is consistently ranked among the premier law schools in the United States overall and in terms of faculty and student quality and diversity. The school has nearly 600 Juris Doctor (JD) students enrolled in the full-time 3-year program, as well as a LL.M Program, certificates in Public Service Law, Business Law, Criminal Law, Environmental Law, Immigration Law, Intellectual Property Law and Tax Law, and Joint Degree programs, including JD/MBA, and JD/MA.
The International Law Programs department of UC Davis School of Law offers top-quality education opportunities in U.S. legal systems and concepts to law students, practicing lawyers and judges, and academics from around the world. This oce operates summer law programs designed for foreign legal professionals, both "open enrollment" and "customized" programs, as well as the graduate program in law (LL.M. academic year program) and the Visiting Scholars and J.D. Exchange programs and CILC seminars. Over 150 foreign attorneys attend the intensive summer programs during an 8-week period June to August, and 50 to 60 law students attend the academic year-long LL.M. degree program.
Job Summary
Under general direction of the Assistant Dean and the Assistant Director for International Programs, this position will provide mid-level administrative, logistical, academic and general marketing support and coordination for programs within the International Law Programs department, including the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program, summer open enrollment programs, custom programs, visiting scholars, CILC and exchange students. Assist with admissions processing for LL.M. students and enrollment processing for summer open enrollment, custom and exchange applications. Provide student and instructor support, programmatic and marketing support, plan for, assist with and attend program events and field trips, compile and maintain comprehensive information on alumni data information project, and offer basic marketing assistance. Assist with training and assigning tasks for student assistants. Perform a wide range of duties requiring confidentiality, decision-making skills, and sound judgement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Customer service experience in an office environment to handle client/customer inquiries professionally, expediently, and with minimum direction.
- Experience assisting with the planning and coordinating logistics of events.
- Experience working independently to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple detailed projects, adapt to changing work priorities, and perform interrelated tasks.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems, including advanced features.
- Experience using database systems.
- Experience working in a higher education environment
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
- Interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate in person, by e-mail and on the phone with a diverse group of staff, students and clientele.
