• Efficient processing of claims received from Medical Practices, Hospitals, and Physical Medicine offices.
• Review claims for accuracy to determine correctness of claim submitted to be paid or denied based on State Work Comp FS Schedule pricing, rules and regulations.
• Establishing and maintaining communication between Streamline and our provider network to assure accounts payable needs are met timely and accurately.
• Assuring the accuracy of provider payments prior to issuance of payment to the provider.
• Creation and review of explanation of payments to coincide with payments mailed to the provider network.
• Review provider account balances to ensure payments are being made in a timely manner.
• Provide resolution and information on claim status requests from our provider network.
• Remains up to date with all Work Comp pricing models, rules, and regulations.
• Supports Streamline's Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA and other laws pertaining to Work Comp that are applicable to the Streamline Compliance Program. This includes being familiar with the Streamline Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management when there is a compliance concern or incident.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of health insurance claims processing, adjudication, or payables
• Answering high volume calls
• Prior claim adjudication processing would be great but not required
• Experience in a doctors office/back office
• Experience working for a health insurance carrier
• Previous payables experience a plus
• Knowledge of Accounts Payables practices, Liability insurance procedures.
• Knowledge of work comp industry and billing procedures and practices helpful
• Demonstrated success working both individually and as part of a team.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams
• Type 60 wpm
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat
