Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Biology or science related field and at least 4 years experience in a biological research laboratory Position Summary This is a professional, administrative, technical, and supervisory position in a biotechnology and molecular research laboratory studying and performing diagnostic services in detecting and identifying avian pathogens, viruses, and bacteria, as well as research in vaccine development and epidemiology of avian mycoplasma. This position performs research, which includes reading and applying pertinent literature, planning, and conducting molecular biology and animal experiments requiring advanced skills and techniques, analyzing and interpreting data. This position will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day responsibilities in the implementation of research protocols, as well as ensure that procedures are in accordance with federal and university regulations and sponsored agency policies.
