As an HR-Compensation Intern, you will play an important role in assisting with various administrative, coordination, and analytical support tasks related to compensation management and administration. You will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and collaborate cross functionally across HR while gaining knowledge and valuable hands-on experience in compensation at a global organization.

Responsibilities may include:

Compensation Planning and Administration:

  • Aid in implementing and administering compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of compensation materials and communications.
  • Assist in completing compensation surveys and in the distribution of survey data via analysis or reporting.

Data Management, Documentation, and Record-keeping:

  • Help to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of compensation-related data, documents, and processes.
  • Use Workday to run and create new reports or contribute to data analytics.
  • Help in creating and updating compensation-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Job Structure and Classification:

  • Participate in an ongoing project aimed at revamping the organization's framework for organizing and classifying jobs by providing administrative and project management support.
  • Assist in determining appropriate job classifications, levels, and salary ranges.

Special Projects:

  • Conduct research and analysis for specific compensation-related initiatives as assigned by the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate student in Human Resources Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or International Development.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable using and applying data.
  • Strong attention to detail involving data review and auditing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; applicants should express in their cover letter how this internship relates to their field of study and future career goals.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Comfort with and intermediate proficiency in Excel is required.
  • A genuine curiosity about people and how they work together.
  • Strong organization skills, an appreciation for pivoting to work on many different projects in a day and the ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency
  • Interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and accomplish tasks through influence.
  • Must be able to work independently on a project basis and meet frequent deadlines.
  • Inquisitive nature and an eagerness to learn.

Please note:

-Ideally internship candidates are full-time or part-time students.

-This is paid internship and the selected candidates are responsible for their own housing, transportation, and other related costs.


The expected salary range for this position is: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00 annually (U.S. locations only).
