What You'll Do:

The Marketing Coordinator provides the Marketing Department administrative and operational support and fulfills requests from branches and other departments to contribute to the success of the credit union's strategic plan. This role also supports digital marketing channels, including email marketing and automation.

Essential Functions:

  • Extremely detail-oriented and ensure consistency in all matters of editing - spelling, capitalization, punctuation, hyphenation, abbreviations, format of lists, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing team on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages).
  • Assign marketing requests in Asana and keeping track of project due dates.
  • Submit marketing vendor invoices for processing as they are received.
  • Consult with the Compliance Department to ensure advertising compliance on all marketing communications.
  • Work with Compliance to maintain accuracy of the Disclosure & Statement Libraries.
  • Coordinate monthly statement messages/inserts process.
  • Fulfill requests for marketing materials from branches, other departments, and in support of marketing department initiatives.
  • Maintain inventory of LGE marketing materials and supplies, obtaining quotes and ordering replenishments as needed.
  • Support marketing initiatives through development of digital marketing campaigns to drive member growth, retention & new member acquisition.
  • Collaborate with in-house team to create member journeys, branded email marketing campaigns, email distribution calendars, databases, and lists.
  • Build email campaigns that are meaningful and engaging for members and prospects.
  • Compile data and create monthly reports on key email marketing metrics to track success & monitor trends.
  • Implement A/B testing opportunities for continuous development and improvement towards member engagement.
  • Use email platform to upload target lists, build emails, and schedule campaigns.
  • Assist with designing, implementing, and executing digital marketing and marketing automation programs.
  • Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, organization, regulations, bylaws, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain familiarity with and follow all policies, procedures and processes which have been established in order to meet compliance requirements of all applicable federal regulations. The regulations include but are not limited to the Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg. CC and Patriot Act.

Who you are:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or related area.
  • Required: 1+ year(s) professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, or related area.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Knowledge of email marketing systems.
  • Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting, and testing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent editing and quality assurance skills.
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills who can balance multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems.
  • Knowledge of project management software, such as Asana preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
