Job Description









SUMMARY
Compute wages and post wage data to payroll records. Keep daily records showing time of arrival and departure from work of hourly employees. Compute hourly worked from Kronos and time recaps. Ensure that all employees are paid accurately and that all time is entered accurately into the Kronos system.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Update Oracle files, pay records, attendance records, job and shift records, and qualification records.
* Update and utilize Legal System files and personal time cards.
* Reconcile gate swipes with timecard information
* Enter overtime equalization information.
* Maintain a daily/weekly schedule within their respective departments.
* Maintain a schedule of vacation and maintain entry of extra vacation "B" vacation days.
* Entry of time Huntington Plant and Burnaugh Plant.
* Update qualification files for employees.
* Maintain points system - entry and removal.
* Must work every Monday and/or Monday holiday with NO exceptions.
* Must study and learn contract - a must for payroll.
* "Catch all" for typically non-traditional duties (things that don't occur frequently).
* Ensures compliance with SOX controls and processes.

* Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access (form designs), and knowledge of Kronos.
* Mathematics - knowledge of numbers, their operations in arithmetic.
* Have good communication, and personable skills.
* Organizational skills.

* Possesses sound judgment and decision-making skills and the ability to contribute to payroll-related problem-solving.
* Using mathematical skill to identifying and solve problems.

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Occasionally moves about the manufacturing facilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT - Work 95% of time in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Work the remaining 5% of time in manufacturing environment. While performing duties in manufacturing environment, employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals or risk of electrical shock. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat (non-weather) and vibration. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is usually moderate.
