Job DescriptionROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting people as they come into the shop building, as our office is often the first point of contact and directing them to the appropriate location based on their needs.
- Making and maintaining permit books.
- Typing and organizing payment schedules and leases.
- Adding and maintaining permits in various states websites.
Acting as a point of contact for incoming calls concerning but not limited to: leases and permits.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
- Contacting drivers and coordinating with them to get them all necessary permits, tags and documentation to keep our fleet legal and operational.
- Overseeing van sign in/out sheet and the keys for each van.
- Updating various spreadsheets as necessary to ensure accuracy.
- Distributing fuel cards and obtaining direct deposit information for exciting drivers and drivers completing orientation and then sending the information to Payroll.
- Utilizing V-lookup to maintain accurate spreadsheets for permits, tags, and PrePass.
- Basic filing, copying, scanning, and data entry as needed or requested.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write.
- Clerical skills required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of Trucking Industry a preferred.
- Experience working in McLeod a plus.
- Familiarity with Excel and Microsoft Teams preferred.
- Must be flexible and detail oriented.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently is imperative.
