Overview









The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the efficient and effective organization and operation of all functions related to Accounts Payable.















Responsibilities









    Using Blackbaud NXT Expense Management module, review and process payments
  • Process checks, ACH and e-checks through Paymerang
  • Manage vendor information in the Paymerang system
  • Train and support faculty and staff on Accounts Payable policies and procedures
  • Analyze and resolve issues arising from payment issues then communicate resolutions to vendors, staff
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State regulations
  • Manage W9 collection for all vendors

  • Reclass incorrect account number for all accounts payable

  • Record wires and bank drafts

  • Reconcile accounts payable related accounts

  • Review, process and send 1099s

  • Perform other duties as requested














Qualifications









  • 3-5 years Accounts Payable experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of IRS and State Regulations
  • Ability to Research and Interpret topics such as, but not limited to, tax, software and other issues that may arise
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Technical capacity to learn new software and procedures
    • Ability to learn new software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Proficient in the use of Blackbaud Financial Edge or similar AP module.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    Ethical and trustworthy
  • Effectively communicate and educate co-workers regarding Accounts Payable process, required documentation including the implications of State and Federal regulations
  • Operates in a professional office environment
  • Uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopies, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs
  • Able to climb stairs
  • Must be capable of using visual display terminal with continuous wrist movement on a keyboard
