Core Duties
Oversee the precise creation and submission of ledger entries, perform detailed account reconciliations, correct any discrepancies in financial records, and produce comprehensive reports
Manage the Accounts Payable system with attention to detail in coding, verifying data entry accuracy, and overseeing necessary authorizations, as well as perform consistent reviews of vendor and financial records
Lead essential end-of-period closing activities, such as crafting journal entries, reconciling accounts, scrutinizing financial variances, and conducting a full examination of ledger postings
Handle the processing of corporate credit card statements and diligently carry out monthly statement reviews
Serve as the main contact for external financial reviews and the preparation of tax-related documents
Ensure the integrity of payroll accounting by confirming precise ledger entries and resolving any payroll discrepancies
Conduct key administrative tasks, including the organization of documents and upkeep of data systems
Enhance departmental efficiency by training peers and providing support to other roles within the finance department as needed
Required Expertise
Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
At least three years of leadership tenure in an accounting supervisory role
Established skill set in ERP software, with a preference for individuals experienced in NetSuite
