We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Controllers Group as a Manger, Risk Management. You'll be responsible for working with business and technology partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One. Risk Managers at Capital One are highly motivated professionals with excellent organizational and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company. In this role you will focus on supporting finance application project teams to ensure we have well-managed processes.

Responsibilities:

• Risk and process consulting to one or more application team and provide advice and guidance as required
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and standards related to application projects
• Build a management control program around all controls and standards
• Monitor process health and coach application teams accordingly
• Assist teams with project planning activities
• Develop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders that enable collaboration across the enterprise
• Lead change control efforts at the process level to ensure impacts are appropriately assessed, documented and implemented

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management
• At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of Project Management experience leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk
• At least 3 years of experience supporting financial, accounting, and reporting application teams
• At least 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment
• At least 3 years of experience using Jira
• At least 5 years of experience in Financial Services
