TRAK Machine Tools (TMT) is a manufacturer of CNC controls and CNC machine tools for R & D, tooling, and low-volume machining applications. We integrate our CNC controls with machine tools and sell the finished products as turnkey systems under the respected brand names of TRAK and ProtoTRAK. We sell directly to users in much of the United States, with distributor sales in other parts of North America and Europe.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Staff Accountant to join our growing company. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of knowledge in general accounting and be hands on, flexible and willing to cross train in all functions of accounting and act as back up for other accounting personnel.

Compensation

The base compensation range for this full-time position is $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year plus benefits. The pay range displayed indicates the minimum and maximum target for a new hire salary for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Duties

• Accounts receivable and payable
• Assist in managing invoicing & RMA credit process
• Banking and cash management activities
• Monitor in-house equipment leasing program
• Assist with internal, state, sales/use tax audits
• 401k plan reporting
• Manage communications with field personnel related to employee benefits
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Department P&L reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook, Salesforce a plus
• Experienced using ERP software, Syteline a plus
