This opportunity is in the Account Services Department.

Responsible for seeing policies through to the finish line, our Account Services department facilitates the processes between Claims, Underwriting, and our brokers. Ranging from rating services to audits to operational guidance, the available career opportunities are abundant with varying levels of specialty. Role Description:

In the role of Insurance Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for providing client/customer support for the department's Large Casualty operational functions. You will perform various tasks for our business and in the issuance of our insurance policies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities as an Insurance Operations Coordinator will include:

  • Accurate and timely servicing of prospective and renewal accounts as it pertains to the policy life cycle. Processes and responsibilities may include in part the following: submission set-up, account analysis, rating, monitoring of system issues and testing of resolutions, individual reporting and tracking of written business and assigned work items.
  • Engaging in professional communication with internal and/or external customers and performing timely follow up, when necessary, to obtain information necessary for the issuance of policies.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the department's customer service standards and working with your team member to ensure attainment of service standards.
  • Handling inquiries from brokers regarding status of quotes, policy issuance, billings, and being able to direct to other departments as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • College Education Preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong capability in learning and utilizing Safety National's systems and supporting applications
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple items simultaneously
  • Must be able to manage shifting priorities based on business-need and various deadlines
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Insurance Designations a plus

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
