The role:

The Credit Analyst will monitor all domestic and affiliate international accounts for past due balances. The Credit Analyst will also monitor all domestic and affiliate international accounts for ongoing credit worthiness. The Credit Analyst will help maintain an appropriate level of receivables on customer accounts as defined in the annual goal.

What you will do:

  • Make initial contact with customer verbal or written to determine reason for past due
  • Follow up to assure payment
  • Decide, based on information gathered to continue shipments or suspend until issue is resolved
  • Monitor terms compliance of customers
  • Regular review of orders on credit hold
  • Process credit application for new accounts
  • Decide risk/creditworthiness, set or deny credit limit based on information obtained
  • Prepare remote bank deposits of incoming customer and miscellaneous checks
  • Prepare and distribute month end reports as required
  • Record and process accounts receivable information concerning payments and deductions as needed for business coverage
  • Interact with Customers, Brokers or Sales Personnel to resolve outstanding issues

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, Credit/Collections
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer Focus
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • General Accounting concepts
