Role Summary/Purpose:

As an MSF Capability Lead, you will be responsible for crafting Synchrony’s MSF Solution Products, delivering them to market, and launching them at scale with various partners & merchants.

You’ll be responsible for facilitating strategic and tactical conversations among a wide range of business and technical stakeholders, converting customer needs and business requirements into a technical roadmap, and collaborating across multiple Agile Release Trains and Agile Delivery Teams to deliver these features/capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background with a technical background, as well as a proven track record of delivering critical initiatives in Agile at Scale.

Essential Responsibilities:

This role will focus on integrating our Preferred Lender MSF solution with merchants & providers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the product meets enterprise expectations & driving enhancement requirements when needed

  • Facilitate rhythms with partners (as needed) to ensure a smooth integration & ability to commercialize at scale

  • Managing relationships with partners to ensure a holistic solution is designed while balancing enterprise & partner needs

  • Create documentation for integration support as needed

  • Communicate and facilitate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Agile Team (program peers, key stakeholders, executives, and clients)

  • Technical feature design ensuring enterprise scalability

  • Coach Agile behavior, leading by example

  • Leverage Scaled Agile ceremonies to facilitate organization and collaboration across teams/trains

  • Keep Agile Delivery Teams/Trains focused on concrete priorities while keeping outside influences from disrupting and actively identify and remove waste and distractions

  • Ensure all teams are providing outputs which will piece together to the desired Product deliverables and provide end to end QA leadership

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 1) Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of IT experience or equivalent leadership program experience, or 2) in lieu of degree High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of IT experience, experience in developing and implementing information systems and project management experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in product management, especially technical product management

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, software developers in particular

  • Passion for Agile and experience helping teams become more Agile

  • Experience working in SAFe / scaled Agile a plus

  • Previous experience with both front-end and back-end applications; experience with Fiserv/First Data Credit Issuing Systems a plus

  • Participated in management of projects and implementations with both large and small corporate organizations

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and other Atlassian products; fluency in MS Office

  • Superior organization skills and adept at multi-tasking

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills

  • An analytical approach to problem solving and trouble shooting

  • A “can do” and flexible attitude with an ability to hit the ground running and learn on your feet

  • High level of initiative and can work well in a team environment

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                  

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                               

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
