Pay Range: $65,000-$95,000
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Manage staff and senior accountants and oversee the daily operations of Inventory Control within the accounting department.
- Direct, train, and oversee the technical and career development of staff to ensure operational excellence is continually met.
- Implement, monitor and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with other departments on business objectives.
- Supervise the analysis and resolution of daily stock variances, including reviewing and preparing monthly reports.
- Lead the effort to resolve transaction errors daily.
- Coordinate periodic cycle and annual physical counts.
- Review prepared month-end reports used by the Inventory Control team for reconciliation and analysis.
- Participate in cycle count audits and physical inventories at locations throughout the network.
- Review the creation of items for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in hiring and ensure alignment with accounting talent strategies.
- Prepare and review documentation to assist internal and external auditors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 4 years of relevant experience.
- CPA license/CPA candidate is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Travel, evening and weekend work may be required.
