Interim Corp. FP&A Manager


Our client, an automation machinery manufacturing company, is looking for an Interim Corp. FP&A Manager to support their team in a variety of responsibilities.

This opportunity is 100% remote, however, PST working hours are preferred. This role will have a duration of 9-12 months, with potential to convert. This position will report to the VP of Finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing support to the financial reporting function with main responsibilities in the Cost Center forecasting & reporting. This is a contractor position to cover the financial and operational analysis, as the core Finance team is engaged in NetSuite implementation project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze monthly and quarterly revenue performance and provide insights to executive management on variances to plan and prior forecast. Prepare clear and concise variance explanations so management can easily understand variances between actual results and forecasts and prior year.
  • Own the bookings-to-revenue model that drives the organization's revenue forecast and long-range plan.
  • Forecast and tracking budget P&L and Balance Sheet items and supporting schedules (collaborate with department managers while aligning with global corporate initiatives).
  • On a recurring basis (monthly/quarterly), develop presentation materials and present cost center reporting insights, trends, and observations to multiple relevant business leaders.
  • Analyze financial data and develop financial models and cost projections. Update models for actuals and planning analysis.
  • Own cashflow forecasting and manage cash runway.
  • Tracking KPIs and preparing monthly management dashboard of EBITDA and cash position.
  • Assisting with monthly/quarterly financial closes, especially Revenue accounting and Flux analysis.
  • Perform other ad hoc Finance projects as needed.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of professional financial planning, analysis, and modeling experience, preferably in FinTech environment in revenue and top line. Demonstrate experience applying analytical skills to research, interpreting, analyze, compile, and present financial data and information.
  • Working knowledge of financial strategies and understanding key business drivers. Strong financial analysis skills and ability to analyze financial data to identify trends and issues, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Willingness to take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed. Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work independently to identify problems early and explore possible solutions. Thrive in a high performance, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets, particularly bookings and customer data.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Zuora Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, emphasis in Finance.
  • CPA or CFA qualification is a plus
