Decrease job ad costs by sharing apply data with your job boards

Periodically, we run across a piece of information that we think might be of great benefit to our employer, employment advertising agency, recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), and other job advertising customers.

Today, we share some data about the massive cost savings that one of our large employer customers experienced when they placed our click-to-apply conversion tracking pixel onto their job application completion page — the page that candidates see as soon as they’ve completed their application.

Although the customer had been happy with what they were paying on a per-click basis, when they were able to place our pixel, the outcomes improved massively. Their budget remained about the same and the clicks that we delivered also remained about the same, but we were able to see which of the candidates we were sending to their career site (clicks) were converting into completed applications. That allowed us to then send a lot more of those and lot fewer of the candidate clicks that were unlikely to convert into applications. So, for the same money, the customer received far, far more value.
