They want to do meaningful work but also to share their life events and funny moments with their colleagues. A company’s culture should give the space for employees to feel free to share their authentic selves.
2. Host virtual events– Employees love to interact with each other and develop social bonds. There are a variety of creative ways for companies to engage their employees and keep them excited to be part of the team. Examples can be anything from video game races, mixology classes to open mic sessions, all conducted online.
3. Show appreciation– Employees want to be recognized and appreciated for their work. Working remotely can feel isolated and alienating. By showing appreciation with a thank you or compliment, employees feel valued and motivated to continue to work at their best.
