Navigating Your Job Search During COVID-19

College Recruiter has been doing a pretty good job, I believe, in creating timely content for students, recent graduates, career service office professionals, employers, and other stakeholders who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. But that doesn’t mean that we’re the only good source.

We’ve always advocated for students and recent graduates to make better use of the expertise offered by their career service offices. The people who work in those offices are some of the most knowledgeable and caring career experts that you’ll ever find, and their only agenda is helping you find the best possible career path for you.

An example that I just ran across was a webcast delivered this past Sunday by New York University’s Wasserman Center for Career Development. In the webcast, Associate Director Graduate Career Development Services Kelly Graham and Undergraduate Career Development Manager Victoria DiMonica shared some great tips and tricks for NYU students, but made the video available to all. Pretty clearly, NYU recognizes that we’re all in this together and any help that they can be to students and recent graduates from other schools would be the icing on the cake.
