Close to 33% of Graduates in Class of 2014 Landed Jobs by Graduation

National Association of Colleges and Employers logoSome college graduates in the Class of 2014 not only can smile about finishing school but also about getting jobs at the same time.  The number of grads finding employment is nearly 33%, according to one survey.  Learn more in the following post.

Slightly more than 30% of graduating college seniors from the Class of 2014 who applied for a job had one in hand prior to graduation, according to results of NACE’s 2014 Student Survey.

The 30.1% for the Class of 2014 is a small improvement over the numbers for both the Class of 2012 (29.8%) and the Class of 2013 (29.3%).

Overall, the percentage of graduating seniors who applied for a job and received at least one offer was 47.9%. However, only 62.8% of those receiving an offer had accepted an offer at the time of the survey.
