Even in the U.S. where the opportunities are vast regardless of the economy, making money can be quite challenging.  That is, unless you are able to rise above the race and make success a habit of yours.

I tell you no lies – making money takes a lot of hard work and dedication.  Below, you’ll find just a few career philosophies that I’ve found useful and that are bound to help you on your way to riches.

Just like anything else, proper implementation of these philosophies takes time.

The persistent eventually always win.  Sometimes rejection is very difficult.  Well, just about always it is.  However, it’s how we handle rejection that determines our resiliency and ability to persist even through the most difficult of times.

In business, we’re all going to take a blow here and there.  However, it’s the people who can handle the blows that are bound to win in the end and, thus get the biggest paychecks.

Those who learn are those who earn.  Nobody pays for ignorance, but just about everybody pays for expertise.  Expertise is not easy to gain, hence the term.  You’re going to have to put in your work.

This means learning on a consistent basis.  To do so, start out small.  Rome was not built in a day, but it was built and so can your knowledge base.

Learn to write a resume, it’s the foundation.  You can have all the talent in the world, but if you can’t properly display it on a piece of paper, then it will most likely go wasted.  You have worked too hard in your education and your past jobs not to put your best foot forward.

The research is out there and, if you plan on implementing the above philosophies, consider this one a must.

Enjoy your career and choose something that you love. You can’t make money doing something that you hate.  Well, you can, but you won’t thrive close to as much as if you’re focusing on a career that you truly enjoy and that you are passionate about.

When choosing a career, don’t go in for the cash.  Rather, go in for the passion and the cash will follow.

In the End

Nothing is guaranteed in life and money is one of the hardest things to obtain in large quantities.  However, it is possible and, once you believe it to be, you’re half way there!
