I recently ran across a blog article written by Toby Dayton of JobDig in which he mentioned a widget developed by Gary Hayes that “demonstrates the phenomenal power and growth of social media. It’s not only fascinating to watch, but also a blunt depiction of why social media must be a vital component of anyone’s web strategy.”
For those who are unfamiliar with Gary, he’s the director of LAMP in Sydney, Australia; CCO of virtual world and game development company MUVEDesign; and consultant in social and transmedia to the TV, film and arts industries. Here’s his brilliant widget:
