For those students spending the summer in a small town or who are finding that internships of interest have deadlines that have already passed, why not do some prospecting with employers you think you’d like to work for. Prospecting often offers students a better experience than a posted internship since students themselves select the site and oftentimes are asked by the employer what type of experience they’d like to get.
