Tips for Your Resume

It’s that time of year again when many college students are beginning to think about what they’re going to do for the summer break. I find that the toughest part of writing a
resume for most students is deciding what to include and what is ok to leave off.
I recommend that students take a good look at the internship description and the qualifications to apply. Next I would review the company’s website and get a basic understanding of their mission, products or service, and what population they serve. Once you better understand the company and the qualifications they are seeking in a candidate, you will be in a better position to highlight your experiences, skills, and accomplishments that most meet the employer’s needs.
