READING SPECIALIST RESUME COVER LETTERS
When writing reading specialist resume cover letters applicants should show the hiring managers that they have active state credentials and experience in this area. It is not enough to be able to teach reading. Such specialists must be able to work successfully with underachievers and students who are slow to read and/or come from a home where English is not the primary language. Any reading specialist resume cover letter should provide details about what the individual can bring to the job that will establish him or her as a professional who can wok in challenging situations.

Dear Dr. Armitage:
I heard from a neighbor about the critical need in your school district for reading specialists with at least two years of experience. I also found your listing for such on CareerJimmy.com. I have an up-to-date state credential and special skills with students who come from homes where English is not the primary spoken language. I am fluent in Spanish and can speak some French, as well.
I’m writing this resume cover letter to apply for the opening of reading specialist, now that I am ready to come back to work full-time. I’d welcome meeting you next week to discuss this position, if you have the interest and time. I can start work as early as September 4.
To arrange a meeting please call me on my cell phone: 785-897-3434.
Sincerely,
Jan Jobseeker
