Elementary School Teacher Sample Cover Letter

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER RESUME COVER LETTERS
All elementary school teacher resume cover letters should focus on the applicants’ experience and ability to teach K-5 in a private or public elementary school. Be sure to mention your college degree and credentials so hiring managers know you are qualified and trained for this work. An elementary school teacher resume cover letter will help a teacher find a job more easily if he or she also has a special interest or talent that sets him or her apart from other applicants.

Dr. Steven Barker,
Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Hilltop School District

Hilltop, USA 99999
Dear Mr. Barker:
Your call on CareerJimmy.com for elementary school teachers to fill openings at the Hilltop School District starting next September caught my eye. Recently I moved to this town and I’m looking for full-time placement as an elementary school teacher. I have experience teaching K-5 as well as special skills in art and music. I would include the two in my classroom work.
I’m a 2003 graduate of ABC University in Miami, FL with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education.
Since you are conducting in-person interviews every half hour Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the next six weeks, I will call and make an appointment for one so we can meet in person. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully joining your staff of teachers in the fall. Thanks so much for taking a moment to read my resume cover letter.
Sincerely,
Jane Jobseeker
