June Grads’ Dream Jobs

June Grads: if you are smart (and I know you are), you’ve already done your homework (no pun intended) about the hot job market that awaits you. In fact, this hot job market has already gobbled up a large number of June grads’. If you’ve yet to receive your job offer, don’t despair just yet.

A June 6th article on Forbes.com titled, “June Grads’ Dream Jobs,” offers up some interesting info about what Steve Pollock, president of WetFeet, calls the “most competitive recruiting environment in years.”
In fact, Pollock says that this year is expected to exceed 2005–a very good year for June graduates–and is likely to rival the Internet boom years of the late 1990s.
I’m living in the middle of this competitive recruiting environment every day, so I’m siding with Pollock, realizing it doesn’t take a job-market genius to see this one coming.
