The Flip Flop Job Search

Looking for a job is hard, and it’s one of those things where you can go through a dry spell. Two weeks ago I had three interviews… now with all my interviews done I am playing the waiting game. And waiting…. and waiting…. it seems to me now that I can’t find any other interviews either. Two weeks ago it was pouring… now I’m experiencing a drought. The worst part about this dry spell is the fact that I’m waiting to hear back from a possible employeer. Not just any possible employeer, but the one I want so bad I can taste it. They put me through a phone interview and a two hour interview/presentation session and it went so well. Now I’m waiting because this is the job I want so desperately. I know I can do it… I am prepared and ready. Not to mention it’s the job I’ve felt so much passion about. So I wait… and waiting takes forever on something like this. It’s like when you’re at the bottom of the teeter totter and your waiting for your turn to fly in the air, but it doesn’t seem to come quick enough. I’m waiting with my feet firmly planted on the ground, waiting to push off and soar.
