  • Position Title: Software Design Engineer Intern

Experience the challenges and rewards that come with End to End Software Product Ownership as a Software Design Engineer Intern with SAP Concur’s Payments Team!

Coding is only step one when you are part of a team entrusted to build, test, deploy, manage, measure, and improve a suite of services that make up the Payment Ecosystem. You will be helping to refine requirements, determine the best way to implement those requirements, and adapting our current services or creating new services to execute that implementation plan. You will also be working to ensure your code generates useful metrics that can be aggregated to give us actionable data around usage, behavior, and problems.

Who you are:


We’re looking for someone who can challenge the status quo and likes to stay curious. You enjoy working on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.


You are comfortable coding in at least one language that would be found on a webserver: Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, .NET, etc. You are able to think about problems and solutions at a high level first, and implementation specifics second. You are able to explain technical items you understand, and do not hesitate to ask more experienced colleagues when subjects are unclear to you.


While we don’t require a specific technical background, we do require individual accountability and ownership. You should be someone who is innately proud of what they build and will always go the extra mile to ensure it will succeed.
