Construction Sales Specialist

If you are at home on construction sites, comfortable working with construction leaders and personnel, and have a high-energy, driven approach to success, the role of Construction Sales Specialist could be your perfect fit. You will generate interest in Makita tools by visiting job sites, generating interest with end users, presenting to decision makers and driving sales to our distributor partners. You will enjoy:

The ideal candidate for the Construction Sales Specialist role will have deep understanding of construction job sites and the construction market combined with self-discipline, solution-based sales skills and experience, and the drive and self-motivation to get out in the field daily.  At a minimum you should have:
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience, ideally in construction
  • A bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university is preferred but not required
  • Deep understanding of the contractor trade within the Salt Lake City market; knowledge of all phases of construction 
  • Strong knowledge of tool applications
