Play a key role in Digital Transformation at Fido!
The digital team is currently seeking a talented Lead Designer to join the Customer Experience UX/UI team in Montreal to cover a maternity leave. This individual will be well versed in the workflow and processes of UI and UX design for both mobile and desktop experiences. Working with the larger UX/UI team located in both Montreal and Toronto, they will be providing day-to-day design assistance to the team regarding the creation of innovative and engaging online experiences.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Assist in the UX and design of user interfaces that provide an interactive, informative and engaging experience
Provide support to business as usual (BAU) initiatives such as promotions, device launches, updates to existing experiences
Work closely with the user experience team to create online prototypes for usability testing
Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of projects, creation/refinement of presentation materials
Accountable for all elements of asset delivery to development teams
Maintain and create design style guides for mobile and desktop experiences
Communicate the functionality and components of interactive elements with cross functional teams including the development team and stakeholders
Provide support to Design Managers and Product Managers
Ambassador of design thinking mindset for the UXD team and cross functionally
Skills and Experience
College Design diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum 1 year lead/senior position with at least a team of 2 or more designers/ux-ers
In depth knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Invision and Invision Studio
Knowledge of Axure
Strong knowledge of CSS/HTML and be able to communicate with our developers with ease
Mobile and desktop UI design experience
UX experience
Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders
Experience facilitating discovery sessions a bonus
Ability to work independently and under short deadlines
Ability to prioritize workloads
Ability to communicate in English (oral and written), French a bonus
